Naruko is an energic and optimistic person who is in love with his bike. He starts as sprinter, but with the development of the story he became an all-rounder.

When this boy rides his bike he looks to be easy-going, but the truth is that he's a pragmatic and attentive one that doesn't overstimate himself. On the contrary, he's very self-confident but he knows well the way he is, even admitting that there are circumstances where he's totally idiot~

I think he has a splendid personality, and it's not only because he always do his best until the very end or because he never give up, but because he loves cycling as the way he loves his friends. Speaking of this, Naruko would do everything for helping them, even giving up a race. But he'll always support the ones he loves, taking good care of them and trying to give them the best suggestions.
He's also a narcisist, but he can sacrifices his will to appear for something that he considers more important. And be serious even if he usually smiles cherfully.

Naruko is the character that catched my attention since his first apparition, and I can't help but adore him more and more, because he he's a great person with a golden heart and the most competitive will of win!
It's not like he's someone that always won. He knows very well the meaning of lose and the frustration to feel the worst one even if he always did his best cycling.
His will of win and his incredible inner strength born from a past where he was a loser, and now touch a present where he's the winner.

An important side of him is that he tries to keep every experiences and making them part of him, to become an always better and stronger person in future.

The meeting with Onoda and their friendship, his friendship/rivalry with Imaizumi, his past made of losing, Tadokoro's influence, the will to defeat him, the first Inter-High, the way he becomes a senpai in his second year, the battle against Midousuji, destroying his bike while his cycling as his desperated way to win, his desire to get revenge and the rivalry with Izumida and more importantly with himself.

All these things are what changed him from the bottom of the heart, at the point that Onoda and Imaizumi understood that there's something in his personality that now is different, and that Naruko himself look different, not only because he changed his way to do training and to act, but because he decided to become an all-rounder and proving himself that this time (as the past, as the present and as he always did) he can overcome his limits.

Speaking of this, everytime Naruko finds something he can't surpass, he doesn't give his 100% to overcome it, but 200%. There's no way he gives up and there's no way he can lose his determination, even if in the first Inter-High and in his return at home he understand how weak he is looking at Midousuji and his limits as sprinter. That's why he starts changing himself from the bottom~

About his family, he has two little brothers that loves so much, and obvuiously they love him! He's like an hero for them, that are Naruko's treasure~

What I love the most of him is that he wants to become the hero of himself. And because of this he'll never accept to be defeated with no way to get revenge improving himself. So, thinking accurately about him and trying his best, he'll always do better and better as person, cyclist and friend~
