Name: Kardia Kardia is a man with always a smile on his face, because he thinks that living means be free, and he always follows his heart in every kind of situation to leave this world with no regrets. When he found out that his heart was weak, he was abandoned in a sanatory when he was 10. They said that he would die in a year, so he refused to die on their condition and in a bed, and run away from there. Thanks to Krest, that he met casually, he became the Scorpio Gold Saint and leaned a technique that helped him to keep on a certain control his desease, and it was the Scarlet Needle. Kardia became good friend with Degel, the Aquarius Gold Saint and Krest's disciple, that helped him with his ice when he had a fever because of his desease. When he was 16 he met Sasha without knowing that she was Athena, and spent time with her, becoming closer than a canonic Saint with his goddess. They became friends and even after Sasha's revelation as Athena, they kept a not conventional kind of relation between the two of them. She cares very much of him, at the point that when Degel was not at the Sanctuary and Karia had a fever, she left every kind of obligations as Athena to take care of him as Sasha. When the Holy War started, Kardia and Degel were sent to accomplish a secret mission on Bluegrado, and there Kardia fought Wyvern Rhadamanthys and eventually defeat him at the cost of his life. But before dying he finds the stregth to save the life of Unity, a friend of Degel, that thanks to him and the needle that Kardia leaves in his hands before dying, survives. Kardia is a beautiful person with a beautiful heart and he is pure like a child and also fierce like the greediest warrior, because his will to fight always stronger opponents takes him to put his life on the line with every single fight, because even if his desease is mortal, he wants to be the only one to decide how to live and how to die, when and where. He also is very kind and a gentleman, that always tries to put a smile on the face of people. He is also Degel's anchor, because Kardia's way to be is never making problems, just be yourself and be free to be what you want, so when the always concerned Degel talks to him, he always finds a solution for his questions. |
