ABOUT ZERO TWO

Zero Two pilots the FRANXX Strelizia together with Hiro, and not this much is know about her. She is an experiments to make a xilliosaurus into a human being and since she made a promise with Hiro when they were children, she tried with all herself to become one. She lose herself at some points because her nature asked for Hiro's blood and body, so she tried to eat him. That was the moment when Hiro and her lost their coonection, but not the feelings that bonded them. Because Hiro and Zero Two have feelings for each other since always and nothing was able to destroy them.

Zero Two changes a lor during the series. She starts as someone that doesn't know hope or dreams, she only wanted to escape with her Darling and live as a human. She never gave any relevance to life of its meaning, and she often hurted people with her words. But when she finally opened her heart, Hiro and the other were able to reach her and she finally became someone she liked. She loves humans and she thinks they are beautiful, this is the reason why she spend a lot of time with them and try to imitate them to live a life full of happiness. What happens her to the end is a progressive decline to the final death together with Hiro. Because in order to defeat the Virms they do the impossible and then die. The eventually reborn as humans and... the series end. But since they met each other again, we know they will fall in love and get married, as they planned.

The meaning of this series is beautiful, because it doesn't matter if you are a human or a monster. Love is for everyone. Love is freedom. And not even death can make the two of you apart.

ABOUT HIRO

Hiro is a guy who gives all himself in piloting a mecha. But he feels like something is missing inside of him.
He loves the bird jyan and feel like it, because that bird has an only wing and it can only fly with another jyan. Together two jyan become one and can do everything. So Hiro feels like this, but there is no way he can feel complete or able to fly. It is thanks to the meeting with Zero Two that he understands what flying really means, and what love is. They become one and piloting the FRANXX Strelizia they show to everyone that they can do everything together. Time by time Hiro thinks to start to develop feelings for Zero Two, but when he found out the real reason, he see himself like a child, when the two of them really met, ten years ago. That time he helped her to escape from the laboratory where she was used as an experiments, and they read together the story of the Oni and the Prince. This is the story that represents their one, because Zero Two became human in order to find that child that promised to marry her one day, and that will never let her alone. He also is the prince that trusted the princess and loved her with all his heart. Zero Two saved Hiro and Hiro saved her. The two of them became the jyan and eventually destroyed the ultimate (?) enemy, the Virms. They, sadly, died, but their love will always remain, that is why as long as they will have a soul, they will meet again and fall in love again and again.

Hiro changed so much since the begin of the series, becoming someone that will never let the person he loves go. And even if he lost faith in Zero Two because of her lies, he still loved and forgave her, as she did with him. And their bond became much more strong.

I love this boy and I think he is like a prince and the perfect lover, because knowing him you know how much he is a good person and... even if death would make you two apart, he will always search for you. ISn't this beautiful? I would love to see every girl having a Hiro. I wish everyone this~
