PLOT Yuu is a first-year student at Hoshinoumi Academy, who is the rude and narcissistic protagonist of Charlotte and is the brother to Shunsuke and Ayumi. Upon obtaining the ability to take over another person's body for five seconds, he becomes a fake honors student who usually behaves as if he were smart, but in reality, he is a chronic cheater. He had enrolled into Hinomori High School by cheating on the entrance exam. After being tricked and manipulated into using his ability by Nao, he is forcibly transferred to Hoshinoumi Academy and made to join the student council. in the alternate timeline he was a fan of Zhiend. The true nature of his ability enables him to steal a user's ability by possessing them, which has given him multiple other abilities. As time goes on, he becomes less narcissistic and much more caring and selfless towards others under the influence of Nao.
