ABOUT HIM A Terran (Earth-born human) subservient to the Versian, Count Cruhteo. Slaine is a close friend of Princess Asseylum after she saved Slaine and his now-deceased father five years prior to the beginning of the story. It is hinted at that he has feelings for the Princess, and he is fiercely loyal to her. Though he generally has a timid personality, he will shoot to kill when Princess Asseylum is involved.
