Daughter of the prime minister of JIOR, she is Haruto's childhood friend and crush. She is extremely loyal to her friends and kind hearted. She seems to reciprocate Haruto's feelings for her, but his confession to her is interrupted by the Dorssian invasion, and her presumed death was the reason for Haruto to pilot the Valvrave. With the rest of the country under Dorssia's control and following ARUS's betrayal, she convinces the other students to establish the Sakimori Academy's module as an independent state called New JIOR, using the Valvrave as leverage against both superpowers. In episode 10 she is elected the first Prime Minister of New JIOR. Her happy personality appeared to crack to some extent after seeing her father die on a monitor, unable to do anything to help him. She is the first person to befriend Akira Renbokoji, and her failed attempt to rescue her leads Akira to become a Valvrave pilot.
