ABOUT SHIRAYUKI Shirayuki is the main female protagonist in the manga. She was born in the mountains and raised by her grandparents in Tanburn. She is a strong willed and joyful character. After leaving her village in an act of rebellion of the crown prince and meeting Zen she went to live in Clarines. Since meeting Zen she has stood by his side and has promised to help him in the future. She earned a job as a Court Pharmacist within the Kingdom and is now working inside the Kingdom. Herself along with Mitsuhide , Kiki and Obi walk proudly beside Zen on the path he has picked. She is currently Zen's lover.
ABOUT ZEN Zen is the main male protagonist in the manga. He is the second prince of the Clarines Kingdom. His older brother, Izana , is the first crown prince and later King of Clarines. He is an adventurous person with a light-hearted personality. In the past he has suffered due to his royal status and has trouble in trusting people. He keeps his two aides at his side, Mitsuhide and Kiki, as well as ‘holds’ the reins that keeps Obi in his presence. He is currently Shirayuki's lover.
