Schuldig is a member of Shwarz, an assassin' team that fights against Weiss for personal interests.
In a first moment they appear like Takatori's bodiguardes, and at the end of the series they reveal their real goal: killing everyone is involved in their affairs. Not for a real reason, just for their personal amusing.

Apparently, Schuldig is quiet, but looking at him episode for espisode, we find a totally different persons: cruel and sarcastic. that fights using his natural weapons: telepathy and mind control.
He knows that he can use any kind of illusion to make mad his opponent and his major amusing is to see his torturing his opponents. It makes him happy.

His past is sad and tragic. he was abused in the institute for esper in which he grew up, and surely that is one of the reasons why we can understand him when he uses strong words to describe the world and life. He considersit as a joke and manipulating the minds of the people makes him able to see into their personal worlds.
Doing it, he shows them his own world, and it's horrible.

it's thanks to Brad if he's free to the istitute that saw him growing up within' a mother and a family, where he was considered just a doll to use in order to test the espers' powers.

His natural rival is Yohji and their relation is deep, because they seem the other side of the other ones.
It's not just because they're usual to fight, but because many sides of them are similar.
In a special music video called Carneval 2000, Schuldig is killed by Yohji, in a fight one-to-one. Really, we can't know what's Schuldig's destiny, because at the end of Gluhen he's ok and he's together with Brad, in the OVA is the same thing. In another music video calle Tokyo Sling he visits Aya's mind after let him able to see Aya-chan beside him thanks to an illusion.
