Ryu is a member of the group TRIGGER (together with Tenn and Gaku), where he acts the part of a sexy man who wants to lure his fans with his perfect body, his handsome face, his deep voice, his sparkling eyes and sexy mouth. That's because of this that he's often mistaken for an erotic guy. But that is only when it is something related with his work (and Tsumugi who is really stupid at times, but that's another story). His real self is totally different.

    Ryu is a very, very shy guy coming from Okinawa. He tried to become an idol because he wanted to help with his father's debts (though his personal matters with his family are still unknown at the moment) and it was not very simple because being something like a countryman (I think I can call him like this...?) was troublesome... starting from the fact that he spoke almost always using the Okinawan dialect and ending with his kind and innocent attitude (not to mention something about his appearance, thanks Yaotome papa). He studied hard to create the image with which he's seen from the public, and this is the reason why he's different in his private life. He's really an honest guy and usually ends up being Tenn and Gaku's mediator since they fight for everything. He's friendly and gets along very well with everyone, not only with people of his group, but with Idolish7's members too. Even if he learnt how to speak properly, there are moments in which he can't think properly, for example, when he's angry (this is rare, but still—) and starts to speak in dialect. The result is that nobody can understand what he's saying (and I remember that I laughed for days and days after hearing words I can't even remember/imagine) and he gets easily embarrassed because of this (how cute).

    He likes to drink and he's used to do it since before coming to Tokyo. He said this was because there were not many things to do in Okinawa and to have fun he met with his friends and... drink alcoholics with them. He says that when he's drunk he can't reason very well (this is no good, Ryu.) He's very skilled at cooking! And he can speak foreign languages. I appreciated a lot this, since he started to learn listening to people talking in his family's hotel.

    This big-hearted boy is so precious that I can't even. It is easily understandable even from the rabbit chats where he's always fresh and sincere in everything he says. He often tells about advices the others gave him and he's always grateful to that. He frequently uses the exclamation mark (I think this underline his enthusiasm, maybe) and he can use stickers as this that I'm still trying to understand.
