The Amagi Rinne we know when we start playing is the person he became after the circumstances of the main story (please, read it!).
Rinne is outgoing and arrogant. A person who usually makes others lose their patience because of his annoying behaviour. In the past, he used to speak with a forked tongue because of his goal to destroy ES. He was very aggressive and always on the rampage.
Now, the way he speaks is almost the same. He’s always an arrogant tyrant, but instead of aggressive behaviour, he only jokes around. Even though it seems he’s just kidding, what he says is always what he thinks. In fact, a typical trait of his personality is his bluntness. He tries to tell others what he believes, straight to the point. The main problem is that he isn’t kind with words, especially when it’s something about a serious situation. Because of this, he’s misinterpreted most of the time, and many characters don’t believe in him. They can’t even accept that he’s not evil. He’s ok with this because he shows only the sides of his personality that he wants the others to see. The ones that don’t describe his true self at all. The way he usually spurs on the others implies that he tries to let the person who’s in need do everything by themselves. He stings them and gives silent pieces of advice so that they’ll choose the right thing to do by themselves without him telling them directly. He’s a fantastic good big brother~ I mean, not only for Hiiro. He’s the kind of person who’s like a big brother to everyone. He’s the oldest, after all. But he has, obviously, a different relationship with his little brother. Even if being honest towards Hiiro is difficult too, it depends on what he has to tell him.
He enjoys spending time (and money) gambling. That’s the best way he chose to live his life. When he has to decide something, he relies everything upon his luck. Unfortunately, he’s not always lucky: sometimes he wins a lot, and, in the same way, other times, he loses a lot. When he wins big, he usually never uses the money for himself. It’s like he’s not interested in it, but he only wants to enjoy his time and test his luck. Everything while he makes the others happy, and that’s the same for him because he’s more satisfied like this. His Goddess of Victory is Niki, whose name sounds like Nike. Sometimes, he steals the money he uses to gamble from him, who’s not enthusiastic about it. Rinne likes playing any kind of game (especially board games), and he usually goes to the arcade.
He uses nicknames for everyone, for himself too. He calls himself ‘Rinne-kun’ and uses ‘orecchi’ as a pronoun, even though, in the past, he used 'ore'. I’d like to write more about the usage of his pronouns and the other nicknames too, but I’ll do it on a different page because it’s too long.
He usually gets angry when the people he loves are badly teased or provoked. Even if his being angry is not screaming and the like. He does that with a smirk, telling the other party what he thinks is right. But he does everything he can to protect his loved ones. It doesn’t matter if something can hurt him because what he cares about the most is that the person he wants to protect is fine. Rinne doesn’t even fight with his bare hands, even if he can use martial arts. More precisely, he hides this fact and even tells Hiiro to stop trying to hit him because, in the city, it doesn’t work that way.
From his voice lines, you can immediately understand that he whines a lot, saying things like It’s too hot, or It’s too cold, etc. But the truth is that he’s always supporting you while being the same tsundere that he’s with the other characters. He treats the producer almost like a princess, but, as usual, he hides his kindness by teasing her. I love when he states that saying thanks is one of the most important things a person should do. I adore this White Day message from 2022.♡
If we talk about romance, Rinne is a romantic man. He believes in the power of love! He told Niki that kissing is after marriage, and he used to say things like you have to take responsibility and marry me to him (that’s even cute). I’ll talk about them on another page because there are too many things to say. Rinne is interested in getting chocolate for Valentine’s day, and he’d be disappointed if he didn’t get any. He has many romantic lines, and his voice is so sexy in many of them~
Before Crazy: B, he was a duo with Niki. Unfortunately, it didn’t last for a long time, and Rinne became a solo artist. Aira described the Rinne of that period as a lone wolf: this was his reputation on the internet.
