ABOUT HER

At the begin of the series she appears like a bitch who think that everything she does is right and has fun trying to polish off Ange from Arzenal. Her behavior towards her was just "I hate you and I'll never accept you!", due to the fact that Ange didn't accept to be a Norma herself, treating all the other Norma like monsters and not comrades (not to mention... friends).

Hilda hated so much (too much?) Ange's personality and way to be, but the truth is that they were the same, or at least... the Ange who entered Arzenal was as the same as the young Hilda who did the same. So, from here, a difficult way to see the world around her and to consider people.
In fact, Hilda lied for years, using Rosalie and Chris to satisfy her personal sexual desires, and used Zola as guide and leading figure to make her future self, but... that was a lie.

With the development of the story Hilda shows her real personality, and her real way to be, that is pretty similar to the one of Ange. She still is an arrogant and self-confident person who says "I hate the whole world and the people", but she truly love everyone. She's a liar that can't admit how much she loves her comrades and how much she wants to protect them at any cost, even if that means sacrificing of her own life.

So, the real Hilda is a child who was took over her beloved mother because of her nature of Norma, and that secretly planned for years to escape from Arzenal to find again her, with the desires to live with her forever.

Because of this, she collaborated with Ange and the two of them escaped together, but ones Hilda got to t come back home, what she found was not the kind and sweet mother she knew but... something else. Her beloved mother became mother of another child just like her, that called Hilda.

When Hilda came back her mother and her little sister repudied her because of her nature of Norma, and even if Hilda tried to explain that even if she's a norma, she still is herself, her mother just asked her to leave and not come back again. And that broken Hilda's heart, that from that moment started to hate the whole world with the whole himanity.

Once she was taken in Arzenal again, she started to show fragments of her real personality, changing a bit her behaviour and way to treat with the others too. She became a little (just a little) kinder and she started to treat Chis and Rosalie as real friends. The others too.

So, once finally Ange and Hilda are able to understand and accept each other, they become friends. And I love so much their adorable relation, made of every kind of feelings~

I pray for her sake at the end of the series, but since Fukuda-san is the director... I have no high hopes about this. Because the best part of my favorite characters from Gundam SEED and Destiny died in such cruel ways and Hilda looks exactly like them. She also has a sister with her same name, so... no more characters with the same destiny of Lockon Stratos, please.
