Ryou is a player of the previous game of Enigma.
He remained prisoner of the black shadow and because of this reason, the Kurisu Ryou that Sumio and the others meet isn't the real one, but the opposite version. The one made evil from the shadow.
Thanks to Mitrurigi he can turn himself and thanks to Sumio and the others, he's accepted as member of their team.

At the first sight, he can seem an evil person, but knowing him we find a kind, funny and reliable person, the kind of guy that always try to do his best and that the others envy.
Also, he's devoted to God and he always bring a cross with himslef. It's the symbol of his desire to live trying to grant his dreams and to help the weak persons.

His power is called Flat and using it, Kurisu can own a world into a picture, a world in which he's the king and all the objects inside of the world become his property, he's the only one that can use them.
