Aspros is one of the Gemini Gold Saints from Lost Canvas, and he was the one that, beside Sisyphus, was a choise to be the new Pope. Anyway, he only wanted the position to change the law and let his brother Defteros free, so he was not chosen even because of his hidden evilness. Aspros got mad at the Pope Sage decision and killed himself after a discussion and a fight with his brother and Virgo Asmita. He resurrected as a Specter and he weared a Surplice while he used that dark power to fight. His hair were black there.
His words really were evil to Defteros in their discussion, but he found that his evilness was Mephistopheles Yoma's fault, or better, the god Kairos' fault; that put evilness in him when he was a kid and let him growing up like a bad person. Anyway, when Aspros was saved by Defteros, he fought Yoma with his Gemini Cloth, and he even saved Shion and Dohko from death. He died to complete his mission, but he has no regrets. Because now his brother and him became the real Gemini, the one with both dark and light.
At the end he helped in the last battle too, but as he always says, he did it not for Athena, he did it for himself.
Because, more than anything, Aspros was someone that only fought for himself, with his will and willpower, and he never needed to show someone who he was, but only what he wanted to do.
He has a controversial personality and a good side of him is shown in his gaiden, that really shows how human Aspros was when he was alive. At the contrary, Defteros' gaiden shown how evil Aspros was, because even Degel got his evilness masked as kindness.
