Hi! Welcome to "The Art of Creating Opportunities", the TAFL approved fanlisting dedicated to Itoshi Sae Sae is a character that makes me angry. Threre's a part of me that loves him so much, and there's another part of me that would like to slap him in the face! He's a very complicated guy with an outstanding vision of football on the field. He sees this sport as an extension of himself, and thinks that giving your all at something means that you have to be superior to everyone else. For him, becoming number one means asserting himself, proving his strength and dedication, but there is something wrong with all this. Sae hates Japanese soccer so much that he thinks he was born in the wrong place, so his desire is to play abroad, where soccer is seen in a different perspective. Sae plays for Re-Al's youth team and considers himself the best midfielder in the world, so he wants to play alongside the best striker in the world. However, when he was a child he made a promise with his younger brother Rin, when the word "soccer" also meant "sharing his dream" with him. I think that living and playing in Spain changed him a lot, because his dream also changed, although he continues to love Rin in his own way, and in a questionable way. Sae's psychology is a new bastion of science, but I believe that if sooner or later he'll decide to be honest with Rin, we too will discover the reasons that made him say horrible things to him, and push him to the limit of what is acceptable from a brother.
