Fall New York Fashion released, just have a look.
i don't need a moon in the sky but wedding gown in the party
"Decayed opulence" was the overall theme for Marchesa's Fall collection, and designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig showed little restraint with their Victorian-era offerings - inspired by Great Expectations' Miss Havisham, the pieces were romantic, exquisite, and impeccably crafted. Intricate pearl beading, leather cutouts on lace, and deconstructed silk punctuated the show-stopping gowns - and hopefully you like tulle, because there is no shortage of it in this elegant, fantastical collection. As always, the girls played with volume, creating pure poetry with voluminous, sculptured bodices and skillfully frayed layers of lace, making this yet another Marchesa collection that we can't wait to see on the red carpet.
