Hello! Welcome to "Between Genious & Madness", the TAFL approved fanlisting dedicated to William James Moriarty , the protagonist and the anti-hero from the series Yukaku no Moriarty (also known as Moriarty the Patriot), created by the Takeuchi Ryosuke and illustrated by Miyoshi Hikaru!

I already am a fan of the original Dr. Moriarty created by Sir Conan Doyle myself, so finding a manga where he was the protagonist had meant receiving a wedding invitation to me. I felt in love with the series, and especially with William, that, Dear God, is so handsome and fascinating and I barely am finishing to make this site with mental sanity because my eyes are totallyirradiated by him. @_@

William is a controversial character that plans to save the world using crimes to punish the evil, that here in his society are incarnated in the nobility. His brothers and him are ready to everything to accomplish their mission, and together with their comrades search and eliminate every track of wickedness in the world. His rival is Holmes as always, but there are times where the two of them pair up to beat an even bigger enemy, and everything is so full of suspence!!

I love the way that William is characterized , because he's someone that looks like a quiet and kind Math teacher, but he truly hides his ideals and real feelings behind his mask of everyday. But even knowing this... he is so caring with his brothers and his comrades. I also love the way he immerses himself in everything hs does at the point that he loses the sleep and miss the hour.
