, the hero from the series Charlotte, created and developed by Key Visual Studio and P.A. Works!

Yu is the main protagonist of the series. The person that has the most incredible known ability, that's called Loot. it's only in Episode 10 that we find its real meaning, but I'll discuss about it in the proper section to not spoil who just started the series and found this site.

Yu is an handsome boy and a narcisist. That's the reason why he started to use his power to take control of the body of someone else for five seconds to cheat during the exams to appear smart and better than anyone else. And that's not all, because he wanted the cutest and mst popular girl of the school just as a toy, to show the others how awesome he is. Anyway, his development is so deep and intense that because of any kind of sufference and experience, he change himself so much. At the point to become a different person that has nothing in common with the previous one. A nice brother, a nice friend, someone to trust.

it's thanks to Nao if he starts to learn how using his power in a right way and how to be useful, helping people with special powers like him to get better, but... this is a Key Visual story, so we have tragedies, and about half of the series we have so many touching episodes that break the heart.

And after losing dear persons and himself, finally Yu finds a truth that he never saw with his real eyes, that can be seen with the ones of the heart. And that's that even if he always thought to obtain success and admiration himself, there's nothing good he can do alone. Because without someone to hold hands with, you can't see how luminous your life is. And without a reason to live, you cannot find one to smile.
