PERSONALITY

Kurapika is usually very calm and serious. He can also be very kind, but when it's about the Phantom Troupe, he loses all his coolness because of its absolute hatred towards them.

He likes reading and he knows a lot of things, also, thanks to his intelligence, he can easily manipulate people and make them do what he wants. At the same time, he has no patience, and when he gets that something is pointless, he simply cuts it. This is about things, but also about people too, because he an even torture someone to have informations, and like in his fight against Ugovin, if he can't have the information he wants, and he thinks that person needs to die, he simply kills.

His angers takes him to make mistakes often, but since he wants to do all himself without asking help, he brings all the burden on his shoulders. His sensei tried to teach him how using his Nen paying attention, but Kurapika is not interested in living a long life, he's only interested in getting revenge against the Spiders, so when it's about getting revenge, he only follows himself.

Anyway, his kind side shows up in always strange moments, as when he met Senritsu on the train and helped her with her bags. Or when he tried to help Leorio suggesting him to become a doctor instead of a hunter... and also, all his love for Gon and Killua is shown in every smile and kind thoughts he has for them, but unlucily, at the moment he's only concentrated in his revenge, and nothing all.

In the Successor's War Arc he's using his Emperor Time too much, so he already lost five years of his life... and he doesn0t even know that the Phantom Troupe is abroad on the ship he's using to travel too, so maybe this will be the final confrontation with them.
