Hikari is the one that more than anyone else represents how a person can change. And I'm not only speak about the proper self, but about destiny. About the will to accept and to fight the right things, instead of the one to just follow what looks simple to the eyes.

I love him so much because he's a person full of weak points and a hot-headed boy that is always ready to make a fight. But at the same time he's protective and full of will to live.
Definitely, Hikari is the male character that touched the bottom of my heart at the first sight, and with the development of the story and of himself I found something even better than who I've ever thought.

Because people can change, because people change. Whatever could happen, the time pass and people change without knowing they're about becoming a different theirself. But... The heart, the feelings and the willpower are always the same if everyone grow up in a positive way! And... Even if something horrible can happen, even if people can lost and lost what's important; the most precious thing I remember thinking of Hikari is that we need to love. Because loving and lose what we loved is better than never had loved at all!

This is totally right, and I think this is what everyone needs to think to live a life with happiness and without regrets.
