About Draco Malfoy

 

Lucius & Narcissa have one son, Draco Malfoy, who was born in 1980 - the same age as Harry Potter. Draco, the Latin for 'dragon', is a mirror of his father, physically and characteristically. As Lucius failed to succeed in completing the task from Lord Voldemort, the Dark Lord chose Draco to take his father's place as a Death Eater. Draco was ordered to kill Albus Dumbledore or risk the safety of his parents. In the end, Draco failed his mission, like his father before him, but was saved by his mother's plan of having Severus Snape doing the deed for him.
